Elmdon Crime Update

Good Afternoon,

Here is your WMnow update for what has been going on in the Elmdon area since our last message and what the team has been up to.

Crime Update: 

There was a Burglary Residential on Rouncil Close which happened on overnight on 13/07/2026. The offender/s have entered via an insecure door and stolen items from within the house 

There was an Attempt Burglary Residential on Glencroft Road which happened at 2257hrs on 11/07/2026 whereby 4 offenders wearing balaclavas were seen trying to gain access to the front door. No access was gained and all offenders had left prior to Police arrival

There was a Burglary Residential on Limbury Grove which happened between 00:00hrs – 05:00hrs 18/07/26 whereby offenders gained access via an insecure door and stole keys from within the property. The offenders have then stolen a Kia Sportage from the driveway. The vehicle has since been found and will be subject to forensic examination. 

Good News

The team saw a White BMW parked up in Olton during routine patrols. A check of the vehicle by officers revealed that the VIN did not match the registration plates which were displayed on the vehicle. The true identity of the vehicle revealed that this was in fact a stolen vehicle. This was therefore recovered for forensic examination. 

The team responded to a report from a member of the public regarding a vehicle that had been abandoned. Although checks did not show that this vehicle was stolen, it was involved in crime and had no tax, therefore the vehicle was recovered. This shows that we truly value reports from our community, please remain vigilant and always report any suspicious behaviour, it really does help us keep our community safe!
